The purpose of your speech is to explain what you have experienced and learned during the course of completing your Senior Project. Use the following etiquette:
- Develop a speech which is between 7 and 10 minutes. Allow another five minutes for the question and answer period.
- Introduce yourself to the judges and audience.
- Speak clearly with authority and authenticity.
- Make sure your speech has an identifiable introduction, body and conclusion.
- Refrain from reading your presentation. Instead, utilize notes and/or your outline so that you can speak naturally but still remain organized.
- Support the content of your speech with visual aids.
- Video Clips
- Posters
- Pictures
- Artifacts
- Even though you may be nervous, try to relax and enjoy yourself.
- Your audience will be very supportive and will show their appreciation for all you have accomplished.  Verbally thank the judges and audience for listening to your presentation.
