To better evaluate your presentation, please present your Senior Project Portfolio to the panel of judges before you begin your presentation. You may invite friends, family, Community Mentor and/or your Senior Advisor to your presentation. A five-minute questions and answer period will follow. The panel evaluates the validity of the presentation and assigns it a score. In order to ensure success, please consider the following criteria and suggestions:

  • This is your project; therefore, you need to present it.
  • There will be a specific day set aside in which you will be allowed to select the time slot of your choice.
  • A completed dress rehearsal with your advisor is mandatory before you will be allowed to present. All visual aids must be complete for this dress rehearsal.
  • Prepare your portfolio according to the required format.
  • If your presentation is longer than the allowed 10 minutes and is deemed as an effective use of time, you must receive permission from an Advisor Committee member for the extended presentation time.
  • On your presentation day and prior to your scheduled time, confirm the presence and working order of your equipment in your scheduled room.
  • Bring supplies and visual aids to your presentation.
  • Dress professionally and appropriately.
  • Arrive five minutes ahead of your scheduled time and plan on staying for the entire block
