Middle School Science Fair

This year’s science fair was a little different than in years’ past. We decided to have the science fair be optional. For six weeks, practice would be after school or during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, most of the students performed their experiment outside of school. The Stevensville Science Fair was held on March 9. This served as a qualifier to attend state. In order to attend state students had to receive an 80% or better on their project. Out of eight projects, six attended the state science fair in Missoula, MT on March 19. The students LOVED attending the state science fair at The University of Montana. They got to see all the other students projects as well as get a taste of what it is like to be a college student. Although we didn’t receive any awards, Kameron Lescantz received a gold ribbon for his ‘Electro-Bike’ project!
