Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

My Intuition
This site is an easy to use website designed to help students and parents get an early start on identifying potential cost barriers to higher education and helping them build plans to remove the cost barriers. Included are good resources for helping students address financial concerns.

Federal Student Aid ID creation
Use this site to create your FSAID, a unique set of user credentials that will allow you to electronically submit your FAFSA application as well as access the electronic tax information database for electronic transfer of prior-prior year tax data into your FAFSA Application.

FAFSA Application
Use this site to access the official Federal Application for Student Aid. This is the ONLY site you should be using when applying for Federal Aid.

FAFSA Forecaster
This site will allow you to estimate the effect of income changes on your FAFSA EFC. It is not a guaranteed figure for what your FAFSA returns will look like but a ball park of what to expect based on financial changes. This site is useful for both students and parents.

Scholarships

Please use the below links for a great selection of scholarships available to Stevi students.  Please be aware that Stevensville is a Graduation Matters Montana school and therefore opens up scholarship opportunities to us that are not available to many other schools in the state.

Scholarships and grants: How to get through college with less debt
This is a great source of generalized information specific to grant and scholarship opportunities. There is a fair amount of “how to” information provided as well as links to reputable financial opportunities.
