Students were told at an assembly on December 7th, 2018 that if they received ZERO behavior referrals (refocuses and majors) during the remainder of December and all of January, that they would earn a 3 foot piece of duct tape. They were confused by this reward until Mrs. Shourd exclaimed, “so you can duct tape me to the wall!” Students cheered in excitement and most children worked hard to not get a refocus or a major referral so they could duct tape Mrs. Shourd to the wall. Primary students, staff members, and the Parent Teacher Club enjoyed this celebration of the 4-Bees on February 1st, 2019! This is one way the Primary School rewards students who display good behaviors.
